Learning Outcomes : Upon successful completion of the course, the student will be able to: • Describe the basic concepts related to dynamic modeling and process and system regulation. • Explain algorithms and methodologies for dynamic modeling and control system design. • Construct dynamic simulation models of processes. • Design control systems that meet criteria for stability, static, and dynamic behavior. • Develop dynamic operation and control simulators in a computational environment (MATLAB). • Compare and evaluate the results of different methodologies for controller design.
