Learning Outcomes : Με την επιτυχή ολοκλήρωση του μαθήματος, οι φοιτητές θα είναι σε θέση να:
γνωρίζουν την γεωλογική δομή και τα γεωυλικά (εδάφη-πετρώματα) του φλοιού της Γής, αφού όλα τα έργα Πολιτικού Μηχανικού κατασκευάζονται πάνω ή σε κάποιο βάθος στα υλικά αυτά.
αναγνωρίζουν τους γεωλογικούς σχηματισμούς και τις γεωλογικές δομές στον γεωλογικό χάρτη σε κάθε θέση κατασκευής τεχνικού έργου.
