This introductory course provides fundamental knowledge about geological processes shaping Earth s internal structure and surface morphology. The focus areas include: Internal Earth structure and physical properties, Plate tectonics mechanisms, The rock cycle, Basic structures of the Earth s crust, such as faults, folds, and joints, Crustal deformation, mountain building, and basin formation, Surface processes like weathering, erosion, and deposition.
