Learning Outcomes : Upon successful completion of the course, the student will be able to: • evaluate the results of laboratory tests • select the appropriate processes and formulate the appropriate processing flow diagram for the above material to be applied for the beneficiation of ores, industrial minerals, rocks • select the appropriate machinery • calculate mass, weight, and volume balances of transported loads • propose a suitable waste management method • conduct a preliminary economic analysis • perform a preliminary design (floor plans, side views or sections) of the beneficiation plant • prepare a technical report on the specific problem that provides information on the viability of the project for the utilization of the specific mineral raw material.
