The acquaintance with Greek architecture in its timeless constitution can allow students who come to the Athens School within the framework of the Erasmus exchange programme to understand the cultural context of their studies and to come into cognitive and empirical contact with their urban and architectural environment. *** The course is for Erasmus students only *** The acquaintance with Greek architecture in its timeless constitution can allow students who come to the Athens School within the framework of the Erasmus exchange programme to understand the cultural context of their studies and to come into cognitive and empirical contact with their urban and architectural environment. The starting point for this course will be the historical and cultural characteristics that make up the Greek territory, but emphasis will be placed on the city and architecture of Athens. The aim is to familiarize students with the complex environment of the city in ways that can contribute to the understanding of its historical stratification, the recognition of its recent urban and architectural identity and the critical perception of space.
