Course information

The course aims at teaching the English language with the objective of making students aware of the use of the language in various communicative environments and social contexts (development of linguistic awareness). Additional objectives: Enrichment of vocabulary through authentic texts. Practice in grammatical and syntactic structures of the language. Practice in understanding and using spoken and written language. The main axes of the courses are: a) Understanding written language (texts from various sources). b) Linguistic awareness (Grammar/Vocabulary). c) Production of Written language. The level of language proficiency targeted by the course is B2, as defined by the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages.
