Learning Outcomes : The aim of the course is to familiarize students with and acquire knowledge and skills regarding urban transport system design, railway infrastructure design, railway exploitation, etc. Upon successful completion of the course, the student develops skills and is able to: • Design networks and lines for terrestrial urban transport • Organize the routing of bus lines • Configure operational and exploitation elements of urban transport (pricing, commercial management, etc.). • Design and organize the operation of taxi systems and flexible urban transport. • Calculate the traction capabilities of railway systems. • Dimension elements of railway infrastructure. • Design the traffic of railway systems. • Design railway stations. • Design and analyze freight systems and combined transport systems.
