The course includes: Surface erosion, sediment properties and categories, flow velocity distribution, shear stress, sediment discharge and sediment yield, sediment discharge modelling - hydraulic radius parts, Meyer-Peter Muller and Einstein models, water flow calculation methods - hydrometers, watercourses rectification works (cross-stream and lateral), check dams and detention basins trap, linings of slopes, confluence control of streams, hydraulic optimal cross-section, elements of non-uniform flow.

Learning Outcomes : The provision of scientific knowledge on issues related to basic stream regulation and demarcation projects. With the knowledge from the course on Stream Regulations, students of the water resources direction will be able to better assimilate the knowledge required for their future professional engagement, the basic knowledge for the design of technical stream regulation projects aiming at protection against sediment deposition during flood phenomena.
