Learning Outcomes : Upon successful completion of the course, the student develops skills and is able to: • Understand, analyze, and address engineering problems related to decision-making. • Recognize the necessary quantitative tools required in each decision-making problem. • Use different optimization and decision-making tools. • Formulate the mathematical formulation of optimization problems. • Know the theoretical background of basic methods and tools of operations research. • Solve linear programming problems and other optimization problems using a computer.
