Architectural Design 1: Introduction to Architectural Design 1

The Introduction to Architectural Composition course, taught in the 1st and 2nd semesters of the School of Architecture of NTUA, as a single module, aims to bring students into a first contact with the courses of Composition, which run through all semesters as the main articulation of the curriculum. The course is an introduction to the fundamental concepts of architecture. The elements of space, its geometry, its basic vocabulary, its understanding, the means and techniques of its representation are taught.
