Learning Outcomes : Upon successful completion of the course, the student will be able to: • distinguish the main methods of classical chemical analysis and describe their basic characteristics. • propose an appropriate sampling/sample preparation method, as well as a classical analysis method depending on the existing analytical problem. • calculate the quantity of chemical species in a sample based on the quantitative information (volume of standard reagent solution consumed/amount of precipitate formed) of classical chemical analysis methods. • organize and execute simple laboratory techniques in an analytical/research laboratory. • receive measurements, evaluate them, statistically process them, and present the final result correctly.
